Seattle Sauna Festival

The Seattle Sauna Festival is the Pacific Northwest’s first large-scale gathering dedicated to the art of sauna, wellness, and community connection.

This two-day celebration invites guests to step into the steam and experience the magic of sauna culture through sauna sessions, cold plunges, live music, and Nordic-inspired food and drinks.

Whether you’re brand-new to the tradition or a seasoned sauna lover, this festival is your invitation to relax, renew, and celebrate sauna culture—Seattle style.

WHAT TO EXPECT

SAUNA CITY

A gathering of unique saunas from across the region. Try them all—each with its own design, heat style, and personality, perfect for warming up on a crisp Northwest day.

LIVE MUSIC

Acoustic sets, DJ beats, and cultural performances create a vibrant atmosphere, even when the mist rolls in or the rain taps on the sauna roof.

COLD PLUNGE

Cool down the traditional way with invigorating ice baths and enjoy the rain or pray for snow.

NORDIC FLAVORS

Fuel your day with hearty soups, fresh baked goods, smoked fish, and craft beverages—comfort food made for cozy weather.

West Coast Sauna Summit 2026

West Coast Sauna Summit

Welcome to the West Coast Sauna Summit

From January 15–18, 2026, the West Coast Sauna Summit brings together sauna lovers, builders, designers, entrepreneurs, operators, wellness practitioners, and hospitality leaders for a weekend of heat, connection, and momentum.

Hosted at the lakeside Loon Lake Lodge in the UBC Malcolm Knapp Research Forest, WCSS is a fully immersive retreat: wood-fired saunas, cold plunges, panels, skillshares, forest walks, fireside hangs, and good food, shared with good people.

All sharing their love for authentic sauna culture.

We believe this is where the future of sauna in North America is being shaped.

On the benches. Sweating together. Learning together.

And making new connections.
